April Student of the Month

                  

Andrea Sanchez

Andrea Sanchez was selected the Breakfast Optimist Club of Belen Student of the Month for April of 2011.

Andrea is a senior at Belen High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, and the tennis team. She is a member of her church’s youth group where she volunteered with Coats for Kids, Toys for Tots, and the Whitfield Project. She will volunteer in May with the Special Olympics.

Her future plans arte to attend New Mexico Tech to study computer science and to work on computer animation and  to develop software.

 

                  

Teacher of the Month Mark Garcia

The teacher who encouraged and inspired Andrea to succeed is Belen High School math teacher Mark Garcia.
